Looking for an autobiography of janis joplin done for MTV probably done in the late 70's early 80's?

it was supposedly composed by the name Kevin Barry he was living in California (San Fran?) during the composite, he would be either 53 or 54 yrs old now, born in Michigan, I am a fan of Ms. Joplin and would be very interested in viewing this rare footage (esp. I went to high school with Mr. Barry). Thank ya'll very much for your attention to my matter :)
