You decision makes a ton of sense to me. I think your date seems like he is really worried about fitting in and following the crowd. I hope this guy isn't your boyfriend. Stick to your guns. Don't let this guy boss you around. If your keep telling him that you are not going in the limo, he will finally realize you are completely serious. Also, it is not going to ruin your night to not ride in a limo. It is only a tiny portion of your night anyway. Plus, for thirty minutes, 30 bucks is a lot of money. Remind him that all those kids are paying a dollar a minute to ride in a vehicle that looks like a whacked out school bus.
