Live in a joint family i need a phone where 1 can make unlimited calls and pay a fixed amt for the whole mth?

there is vonage and some of the cable companys have a deal, depending on where your from for unlimited calling. there are some cell phone companys that have the same deals as well. there is also another one like vonage that was 20 dollars a month, but i cannot remember the name of the company. the only thing with that one was it went through your computer modem, so if your modem went down, so did your phone.
