Biblically speaking, could this be true?

After reading revelations, I have came to the conclusion that most of us will be killed by God's wrath. Even those who are saved. I mean why not? Didn't God kill worshipers during the great flood for punishment of the sins of humanity? So why believe this fairy tale that those saved will just vanish before the judgments? Yes the bible says that you will be reunited with Jesus, but the pages speaking of judgments and wrath indicate that almost all of the planet will perish. Why not?
