Why are boys more feisty than females?

Obviously: girls are obedient and will do as teacher tells them; boys demand to know if what they are learning is true, interesting, useful and relevant. If they realise that their school is one big holding cell until they're legally old enough to sit in a cubicle all day, of course they'll act up.
