Tenants rights when Landlord Puts home up for sale?

If I understand correctly, you gave notice to leave before you knew the unit was up for sale, so the fact it is for sale really isn't relevant. In most provinces, you would need to give two months' notice (Meaning Feb 28th). The landlord is also required to give the tenant two months' notice. In short, you are obligated and can expect to keep the unit until the end of February.
