Sueing the DWP for unpaid Job Seekers Allowance.?

I registered unemployed for a few weeks following redundancy. I signed to state that I was available for and actively seeking work. It was deemed that because I had received holiday pay from my employer, I was not entitled to JSA. I subsequently started a new job and within two weeks was obliged to take a weeks unpaid holiday due to shutdown. My appeal failed but my argument remains that during the time my benefit was disallowed, I was obliged to register as unemployed and sign-on as such. Had I been correctly advised as to the procedure I might have chosen not to register unemployed and taken advantage of my holiday pay by taking a holiday. Notwithstanding the rules regarding benefit, the law provides that I am entitled to 20 days paid holiday each year. This applies to a whole year and I regard my denial of entitlement as 'reverse benefit fraud'. During the 'unpaid' week I ought to have been entitled to some benefit but was denied. Advice or suggestions most welcome.
