Did Paul Newman and Robert Redford really jump into the gorge in "Butch Cidy and the Sundance Kid"?

It is something I have always wondered about. Was it really Paul and Robert, or was it stuntmen? I know Paul did most of his own stunts and car driving and things like that. And yes, I already googled it and researched around and got nothing. Ha.
